Dan Attoe is known internationally for his paintings, drawings, and neon sculptures. He has a BFA from UW- Madison (1998) and an MFA from UI – Iowa City (2004). He’s been showing his art in the US since 1999, and internationally since 2003.
There are two catalogs of his work – You Have More Freedom Than You’re Using – 2006, and I Made Most of This Shit Up – 2009, and he’s published one mystery/horror novel – The Taking Tree – 2024.Dan has been tattooing since 2020, and has worked at 3rd Heart Tattoos in Washougal, and Painless Ric’s in Camas, WA.
